HOW TO MAKE PIZZA DOUGH (WITH MACHINE)
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup warm water
3 teasppons yeast or 1 packet Fleischman
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup warm water
Procedure
Put 1 packet Fleischman's yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and add 1 teaspoon sugar. Store in a warm place and let the yeast rise for 10 minutes..
Put 3 cups of all-purpose flour in a food processor and add 1 tsp salt. Pulse 3 or 5 times to mix.
Add the yeast. Then add the remaining 3/4 cup of warm water with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Pulse the processor for until flour sticks together and forms into a ball.
Sprinkle flour on a clean board or working space and knead the ball of dough for about 8 minutes until smooth.
Put in a greased bowl (use olive oil) and roll the ball of dough to grease all sides. Cover with a damp cloth and keep in a warm place to let rise and double in size for about one hour.
Cut into two or four parts (whichever you prefer) and form each part into a ball. Stretch the dough balls by laying down on a clean board sprinkled with flour. Put your palm on top of each ball and press down to flatten, and then stretch to make a round flat dough until your desired size. You can also use a rolling pin to stretch the dough.
